Awesome that someone actually put this up!
Suggest that if you need to access the internet for anything other than browsing you can also setup an advanced connection: duplicate the settings above, but for login, use your unikey with "!10" added at the end. ie. if your unikey login is "adcd1234", use "abcd1234!10" this will bill you for all traffic, but will enable things like remote desktop, and FTP for those who are interested.

But we certainly weren't threatening you with a defo lawsuit, merely with the tough love of further scrutiny in our then publication of freedom.

It is worth noting that the liquidator, Dean McVeigh, has still not filed his final report despite pocketing millions.

It is also worth noting that McVeigh dropped his lawsuit against the remaining defendants at MUSU without extracting any money from them at all. Calling him a crook does sound excessive but even now looking back it's hard to avoid any other conclusion.

His whole legal action against them seemed to be principally motivated by a desire to make his very expensive activities appear justified.

Eventually he became a very serious embarrassment for the Melbourne University administration and there were many reports of conflict between them and Dean McVeigh when he kept asking them for even more money.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane but we assure you that you were always safe from a defo writ. At least from us.
